What is TapSmack?

TapSmack.com is a hybrid social network and co-creation platform that is the first of its kind. With our network of artists and users, we connect to produce designs, allowing individual creativity to flourish while fueling an innovative cycle to refine the design. Imagine if you will an eBay where you can not only conduct real time commerce, but come together to create the products in the commerce stream – this means that you’ll actually be able to earn money for doing what you enjoy.

As an off target effect, we also create an environment in which our user base (marketing sweet-spot) can create vetted items that will facilitate market presence and acceptance faster than larger more expensive marketing campaigns. Just imagine being the creator of your very own micro-brand – talk about bragging rights. TapSmack started in early 2008 based on a simple question: How could people with creative ideas but limited artistic talent meet up with people who could help actualize those ideas? Well, a few more minds and discussions later, we came up with this web site; a social network where users and artists can connect to create designs and individual creativity can flourish.
