T-Shirt design for Boys Bhangra-dance Group (Closed for Input)
posted by: parveen
We have a team of 14 boys performing a fun cool and hip Bhangra Dance. These boys are in second grade (7-8 year olds). Their song is a combination of ghetto-cool and traditional punjabi. A shirt that shows that would be great.
The song has traditional punjabi music and a rap/hip hop portion.
I would like a design for a black tshirt and a white t-shirt. Ihave not decided which one we will choose yet.
Silhouette are fine. One the back of the shirt, I want the 14 boys first names in a cool font.
Look forward to seeing ideas!!!!

parveen on Feb-15-2010I love this design! BUT I would rather the boys have TURBANS on than Patkas. These look great! Also, at the bottom of the circle on the bac of hte shirt---can you write Balle Balle Bhangra Boys 2010 in the same font/size as the YES WE CAN. We are getting shirts for the dads in the group as well, I am wondering if we should make a version that says---"Can our son's/boy's Bhangra" YES THEY CAN! Totally looking forward to seeing this completed soon--need to order my shirts!
Hey, I come to know youthat you all are talking about bhangra. I love this dance form my bro is a bhangra dancer. these are some of my designs

posted by: artfinger on Feb-09-2010Hey I remember you from before. How are you... You know I forgot to ask you before too that these kids are all like performer or something?
I love the fusion idea from DJ below. Here is my design. The cartoon was not conceived by me originall by i design the Hip Dholy time from it to create the look I wanted for Fusion Punjabi kid. If you like it I can give the back too with just the names like the DJ. I think that is a cool way of writing Bhangra Boys.

Hey how about making these T-shirts into those battery powered ones that light up.... you could have the head-dress light up and really make an impression.

but instead of jackson--little sikh boys doing the wave? Then the front would say---Can you Bhangra and the back would have the names and say "YES WE CAN"
just an idea!!??
The name of the boys group is called BALLE BALLE BHANGRA BOYS . If you draw an image of a person, the image should wear a turban (look up Bhangra and you will see the style-type) I would love something circular (but am not limited to!) on the front and then the names on the back. Or if you want to design a "Got Bhangra?" with each letter having SIKH images on it---like the G bieng a turban, the H a Kirpan, the A a fan on the traditional dance costume.....you know what I mean?
Just ideas---you guys come up with soemthign fun and catchy!!!
Wow 14 kids.... So in the back you just want names and the front to be art or the other way round
